Il Giardino Ristorante – Elegant Rooftop Dining with Stunning Rome Views

Food was good, but not spectacular. The plating was elegant and sophisticated. The highlight of the meal was the Pistachio Pastry dessert. That was phenomenal. The best part was definitely the service. Daniele was an excellent server and was very knowledgeable about the food. The ambience and view alone make this place a must-visit on any trip to Rome.

Wonderful rooftop restaurant in the Hotel Eden. Michelin quality with wonderful food and great service. We sat outside on a cool but beautiful night. Flowers of zucchini was the starter and it was outstanding. Stuffed with ricotta and a sauce to die for. Stuffed ravioli was next with a wonderful sauce. Main was Guinea with tomatoes and sauce - also outstanding. Finished with pistachios dessert. A wonderful event!!

We had a great dinner and wonderful service. Daniel recommended perfect wine pairings for our meal and dessert. The singer was tea good but it was so loud that it was difficult to hold a conversation.

Very Beautiful and Unique Resturant with Magnificent views of Rome, Sunsets and Excellent Food. The service and bar are beyond compare. The dining area has a glass ceiling with water flowing across it gently … My Wife and I had an Amazing Night ! Highly Recommend !

I went with a friend and the food was honestly the best part, like really the pasta with seafood I had tasted fresh, sauce light but still full of taste, not heavy at all. My friend got a pizza, thin crust, little bit of char that makes it extra, I liked that. The place felt cozy, soft lights, people talking but not too loud, it gave a calm mood somehow. Service was fine too, waiter explained some dishes and even told me about a local wine, I tried it and actually matched good with the pasta, that made the evening nicer. Prices not the cheapest, but for the quality and because it is close to center, felt ok. We left full, happy, I keep thinking maybe next time I try other plates, I saw some passing and they looked really good. The waiter had a kind of blue shirt, looked a bit rushed, like running from one table to another, but still he stopped to talk about the menu. I forgot to ask about desserts, saw one on other table, looked sweet and big, maybe too big. Anyway the atmosphere was warm, I think even too warm sometimes, or maybe was just me, not sure. I repeat again, the pasta was fresh, I say it twice because I liked it so much.

I choose this restaurant to be our anniversary dinner date and it’s the best choice I’ve ever made!The receptionist ladies were friendly and helpful, the view was breathtaking and the place is quiet and romantic.

We were waited by Francesco, kind and very attentive sir that hosted us and served us during the entire afternoon. We wanted a few drinks and ended up eating delicious dishes. Everything is made from scratch by the chef, even the bread which is served warm! The place has a breathtaking view of the parks nearby and the city. Highly recommend it! Keep in mind is a restaurant of a 5-star hotel, so expect quality and prices as such. Thank you Francesco!!

We especially loved sitting in the bar area, sipping cocktails and listening to the live music drifting through the space—soft, sophisticated, and the perfect soundtrack to an unforgettable night. Now let’s talk food. I’ve eaten a lot of pasta in my life (maybe more than I should admit), but the dishes here were on a whole different level. I’m still dreaming about them. We came back multiple times during our stay because I simply could not stop thinking about the flavor, the texture, the everything. It was pasta perfection. (And no judgment from the staff when we showed up again… and again.) Speaking of the staff: service was flawless. Warm, intuitive, never rushed. Every detail—from the wine pairings to the quiet check-ins—made us feel like the only people in the room. Final thoughts: Il Giardino isn’t just a restaurant—it’s a love letter to Roman dining. Whether you’re celebrating something special or just want to be completely transported for a night, this is where you go. And then go again.
